"And I wasn't the only slave to my nesting instinct. The people I know who used to sit in the bathroom with pornography, now they sit in the bathroom with their IKEA furniture catalogue".
Chuck Palahniuk, Fight Club.

Comfort, as domestic concept tends to aggravation. The value of individual "cozy little world" in the XXI century has grown so much that it seems morbid. Collectivization died away, selfish individualism won, but it was legally available pleasure. That is why protection of individual "comfort zone" becomes the basis of struggle, and a new Che is about to appear for support of it.
Against the background of a growing global discomfort, Vita Buivid presents a new project - a reflection on the meaning of artistic practice in the days of art stagnation. The immediate prospects of "paintings for coziness" exclusively retrieval, substitution of the actual art forms meanings and domination of the consumer society over artist's ideology is unnerving the author. Therefore, Vita expresses her internal state literally: sticking an extrinsic illuminator to the artwork, destroying its cozy micro world. Now, these objects will irritate the viewer. Everyone knows that the scariest horror is not about the struggle of two subspecies of aliens. The most terrible nightmare is happening in everyday scenery, within familiar objects, when it is enough to contemplate electrical appliances to be switched on automatically, to make the viewer shudder with horror.
Leveling the context of contemporary art provokes artist to a false utility and desire to give additional content beyond the scope of the plastic expression to the artworks. Still it is not created with hyper-experience of the problem, but for the formation of their own comfort zone.
