Biography
Zurab Arabidze is a Georgian architect and contemporary artist. Born in 1980 in Tbilisi, Georgia. Since 2005 the artist lives and works in Moscow. Zurab's artistic method is based on the principles of minimalism. His works are dominated by sharp geometric figures and neutral colors, devoid of signs and metaphors. In 2002 he graduated with master’s degree in architecture and design granted from The Georgian Technical University. His first solo show took place at the “WINZAVOD” Center for Contemporary Art in 2009. In 2016, a solo exhibition was held at the Ruarts Gallery entitled "Mass Hallucination of Still Modernity". He is an artist at the Ruarts Gallery. In 2017 Arabidze participated at the Photo Basel international art fair. Zurab Arabidze’s works have been shown in Tbilisi (Georgia) as well as abroad: Geneva (Switzerland), Paris (France), Tallinn (Estonia), Vilnius (Lithuania), Istanbul (Turkey), Moscow (Russia), Baku (Azerbaijan).
