Mikhail Buryj was born in 1986 in Izhevsk, in 2008, the artist graduated from the College of Arts of Naberezhnye Chelny, with a specialty of design. In 2014 — the art faculty of the Gerasimov Institute of Cinematography with a specialty of the animation and computer graphics. In 2016, the work of Misha Buryj entered the primary project The Invisible Wall of the II Artmossphere Biennale of Street Art. Misha Buryj is a former street artist, now the author of sculptures, installations and assemblies. He creates his works from the wastes of advertising and polygraphy production, thereby affecting the issues of consumer culture and mass production, as well as environmental problems and information overabundance in the modern world. Misha Buryj was chosen to be a resident of the Open Studios of the Winzavod Contemporary Art Center in 2019 and of the Garage Museum Workshops in the 2019–2020 season.
