Biography
Grisha was born in 1989 in the city of Khimki, Moscow Oblast. The artist graduated from Moscow State Art and Cultural University with a specialty in advertising. Has been engaged in street art since 2004. Collaborates with street artist 0331с. In the framework of the 7th Moscow International Biennale of Contemporary Art (2017), Moscow Museum of Modern Art hosted their joint Soot exhibition organized in a collaboration with Ruarts Foundation. In 2018, they took part in the Alex Partola’s Wall Elements exhibition in the Manege Central Exhibition Hall (St. Petersburg). In addition to creating graffiti and sculpture of small forms from the granite, Grisha works as a graphic artist. Many of his works are made with a regular ballpoint pen. Monochrome and “prickly,” the hatching seems to sprout from the paper, and the details astound with accuracy and scrupulousness.
